Examines international relations and the road to war during the 1930’s with an emphasis on Hitler’s territorial expansionist plans and the ineffectiveness of the League of Nations in dealing with threats to world peace. Coverage is also given to major events of World War II, the legacy of the Nazi program of genocide, the wartime conferences which helped shape post-war political developments and the formation of the United Nations.
